Recreational Pot User From Denver Just Figuring Out That It’s Been Legal To Smoke For Four Years
March 29th - Sources say that a man from Denver, Colorado, who considers himself to be a recreational user of marijuana, has just figured out that pot has been legalized in his state, and that he has been unnecessarily hiding his usage of the herb for the last four years.
“This is the craziest thing I’ve heard all week,” said Daniel Morris, a 35-year-old cartoonist who says that he enjoys ‘an occasional toke’ of marijuana thirteen or fourteen times each day. “I’ve been doing everything I can to hide the fact that I smoke pot because I didn’t want to get in trouble with the law, and then one of my friends told me that it’s been legal to smoke in Colorado for like four years. I’m super excited to continue smoking exactly the same way I always have, and I’m very proud of my peers for finally stepping up and making progress on this antiquated law.”
Morris said he can’t wait to check out the new marijuana shops that have been established in his community for multiple years, and that, although he intends to continue purchasing his pot from one of his old high school classmates, he is happy that he now has another option in case his dealer is ever out of town.
