Local Woman Gets New Tattoo, Doesn’t Post Pictures Of It All Over Social Media
March 21st - Sources say that Lucy Townsend, a local grad student, got a brand new tattoo this past weekend and neglected to post pictures of it on all of her social media accounts.
“I’m starting to become concerned,” said Kendra, a childhood friend of Lucy’s. “She told me that she was planning on getting one, and I noticed that she checked into the tattoo parlor on Facebook this past Sunday...but it’s been three days and I haven’t seen a single picture of her tattoo on any of her social media pages. I hope she’s ok.”
A local tattoo artist confirmed that Miss Townsend did, in fact, receive a tattoo this past weekend.
“Yeah, a girl named Lucy came in the other day and asked me if I could ink a raccoon eating a Snickers bar on her shoulder,” said Mike, the head tattoo artist at Mike’s Tattoo & Sandwich Emporium. “Seemed kinda weird, but she said it was a family thing, so I went along with it.”
While Lucy declined to comment, sources close to her have said that her decision not to share pictures of her new tattoo is most likely influenced by the fact that she’s a grown woman who doesn’t feel the need to post everything she does in her private life on the internet.
