Local Man’s Athletic Career In Jeopardy After Suffering Cramp In Thigh While Searching For Parking Spot At Gym
June 25th - Sources say that a local man’s athletic career may be coming to an end after he suffered a cramp in his thigh while driving around looking for a place to park at the gym this afternoon.
The victim of the aforementioned cramp, Kenneth Tucker, says that his first instinct was to panic and that his second instinct was also to panic, but he was able to regain his composure after taking a deep breath and softly rubbing the affected spot on his leg.
“For a moment there I really thought this was going to be the end,” said Kenneth, an assistant manager at Target and the starting bench coach for a local softball team. “As the excruciating pain in my thigh intensified, I closed my eyes and prepared to limp into the bright light, but then my wife and children appeared to me and told me that one day I might have a wife and children. That was the sign I needed to know that this was not my time to go.”
While the severity of the injury has yet to be confirmed, early reports indicate that the damage incurred from the cramp may be anywhere from “mild” to “extremely mild.”
“Is there a chance that I may lose my leg? I’m preparing myself for the worst, I’ll tell you that much,” said Kenneth through tears. “The doctor told me to put some ice on it and take it easy for a week or so before resuming my regular lifestyle, but it’s tough to understand what all that medical jargon means. From what I gather, I’m just lucky to be alive.”
